2. Scope
These terms govern the distance selling of the products presented on collectown.com. If you buy as a consumer, the protections of the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005) and of your country's consumer law also apply and prevail over any conflicting clause.
3. Products
We sell authentic trading card game (TCG) products, mostly in the Japanese edition, and protective accessories. Sealed products are sold in their factory packaging with the seal intact. Japanese cards are not legal in official European tournaments. Images are for illustration; the product contents are as described on the product page.
Each product page shows its availability:
- In stock: the product is in our warehouse.
- Made to order: we order it from Japan after your purchase; it reaches us in 2–3 business days and we then ship it.
- Pre-order: the product has not been released yet and ships when it arrives.
4. Prices
Prices are in euros and are final consumer prices. Shipping costs are listed on the Shipping page and always summarised at checkout before payment. The price applied is the one shown when you place the order.
5. Orders and conclusion of the contract
The contract is concluded when you receive the order confirmation email. In the case of an obvious pricing error, or if a product is no longer available from our suppliers, we will contact you and you can choose to confirm the order on the new terms or cancel it with a full refund.
6. Payment
Payment is taken when you place the order, using the methods shown at checkout and handled securely by Shopify and the relevant payment providers. We do not store payment card details.
7. Shipping and delivery
Costs, times and delivery methods are described on the Shipping page. The risk of loss or damage passes to you on delivery.
8. Right of withdrawal
You can withdraw within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason. How to return, return costs and refund times are described on the Returns and refunds page. If a sealed product is opened, the loss in value may be deducted from the refund.
9. Pre-orders
You can cancel a pre-order with a full refund at any time before it ships. Release dates are set by the manufacturers and may change: we will let you know about any significant delay.
10. Legal guarantee of conformity
All products are covered by the 24-month legal guarantee of conformity from delivery provided by consumer law.
11. Personal data
We process your data as described in the Privacy policy.
12. Trademarks
Collectown is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, Bandai, Konami or other owners of the trademarks mentioned. Product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the products for sale.
13. Complaints, governing law and jurisdiction
For any complaint, write to us at support@collectown.com: we reply within 48 business hours. These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, disputes fall under the court of the place where you live, and you can also turn to an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body.
