Bandai's One Piece Card Game launched in Japan in 2022 and within a few years became one of the most collected card games. If you are looking at Japanese boxes, here is how to find your way through the product lines.
OP expansions
These are the main expansions, numbered in release order: from Romance Dawn (OP-01) to the latest releases. Each set brings new leaders and new cards, and the early expansions are now hard to find sealed.
Extra Boosters (EB)
Extra Boosters are more compact sets built around one theme, such as Memorial Collection, Anime 25th Collection and Heroines Edition. They have smaller print runs than the OP expansions.
Premium Boosters (PRB)
Premium Boosters, such as The Best collections, reprint highly sought-after cards from earlier expansions in special treatments. They are a good starting point if you want the most iconic cards without chasing every single set.
You will find EB and PRB together in the One Piece Extra & Premium Boosters collection.
Japanese or English?
- The Japanese edition comes out first and is the benchmark for many collectors.
- Japanese cards are not legal in official European tournaments: choose Japanese if you are into collecting or opening boxes.
- Always check that the box shrink wrap is intact and uncut.
Every Collectown One Piece box is an authentic Japanese product with an intact factory seal. If a set is sold out, message us: we source it on request.
